Carter County Oklahoma Health Department Respiratory Syncytial Virus

0Comments

RSV is a virus that infects the lungs and airways and can be particularly severe for young children or elderly Oklahomans. Recognizing the symptoms and staying home when you are sick are important to preventing the spread of RSV.

We are currently seeing a rise in cases and hospitalizations in Oklahoma and are working with medical entities to monitor the situation and aid when needed.

Please seek further medical guidance if you or your child are experiencing symptoms of RSV and learn more at Oklahoma.gov/health/RSV.
