On 06-18-2022, Garvin County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, along with Pauls Valley Police Department Officers, responded to a disturbance call at a residence north east of Pauls Valley. Upon arrival officers were confronted with gunfire from a male subject located inside the residence. Garvin County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from local police departments along with Chickasaw Lighthorse Police Department. Chickasaw Lighthorse Police activated their tactical unit to respond. Lighthorse tactical unit used their armored vehicles to remove deputies and officers to a safe location. After responding deputies and officers were safe, Lighthorse tactical unit took the male subject into custody. Once in custody the subject was airlifted to the hospital.
