The Murray State Shooting Sports Team had a tremendous showing facing off against a lot of larger school foes on the way to a third place overall finish in competition at Waco, Texas.
The Aggies only placed behind Angelo State University and Connors State College in the team standings and were in front of Panhandle State, Schreiner, Tarleton State, Texas Tech, Western Oklahom State College and Wichita State.
Top five shooters for scoring from Murray State were Clay Robertson, Nolan Marcus, Cody Richards, Dan Holley and Jacob Meierhoff.
Individual event leaders in Skeet were Nolan Marcus, Clay Robertson, Conner Corbell, Jaden King and Cody Richards. Event leaders in Trap included Clay Robertson, Hunter Campbell, Nolan Marcus, Cody Richards and Dan Holley.
Finally in Sporting, top placers were Clay Robertson, Nolan Marcus, Cody Richards, Jacob Meierhoff and Ashton Huhsaker.
