Dickson ranked 45th in state for resident earnings in 2017

Dickson ranked 45th among cities in Oklahoma by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau in August.

The median income of Dickson residents was an inflation-adjusted $32,450 per year. Dickson had 486 households in 2017, with a population of 1,307.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Lake Aluma. Lake Aluma's median income was $89,375 per year after adjusting for inflation – $56,925 more than Dickson. It had 30 households in 2017 and a population of 63.

Kenton had the lowest annual resident income among cities in Oklahoma, with a median income of only $5,455 per year. That was $26,995 less than the median income in Dickson at the time. Kenton had 19 households in 2017 and a population of 38.
