Coleman ranked 279th among cities in Oklahoma by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Coleman residents was $24,861 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 121 households with a population of 277.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Lake Aluma with $100,000 per year after adjusting for inflation – $75,139 more than Coleman. It had 32 households with a population of 61.

The city with the lowest median resident income in the state was Langston with $4,683 per year after adjusting for inflation – $20,178 less than Coleman. It had 94 households with a population of 1,254.
