After playing four games over the first three weeks of the season, Southeastern is now set to play four games over 11 days beginning with its Great American Conference opener on Nov. 30 at 7:30 p.m. versus Southern Nazarene in Bethany, Okla., before coming home for its home opener against Southwestern Oklahoma State on Dec. 3 at 3 p.m. in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
The Savage Storm come into conference play with a 2-2 record on the year, splitting games in each of its weekends, falling to a pair of nationally ranked opponents.
Jett Sternberger has led the offense thus far on the season to the tune of 20.3 ppg which ranks third in the GAC, while Brennen Burns is fifth in the league with 17.3 per outing. Kyle Leslie rounds out the trio of double-digit scorers for the Storm with 13.5 ppg.
Kody Clouet is adding 9.8 ppg but is leading the way on the glass with 6.8 rebounds per contest, while Leslie is pulling down 5.8 rpg.
Burns is handing out a team-leading 4.5 assists per game while RJ Weeks is next in line with 2.8 per outing.
SNU comes into Wednesday's matchup with a 2-2 record on the season that includes a win over a ranked Lubbock Christian team as well as losses to unranked Sioux Falls and Dallas Baptist.
The Crimson Storm are led by Adokiye Iyaye and Tyler McGhie who are putting up matching 15.8 ppg efforts, while Javon Jackson is adding 11.0 per contest, with Xavier Bryant handing out a team-leading 4.3 assists per game.
Defensively, Nick Davis is pulling down a team-best 7.8 rebounds per game.
SWOSU squares off with Oklahoma Baptist on Thursday and heads into that matchup with a 4-2 record on the season, including three-straight wins.
The Bulldogs are led by Kamden Gipson who is putting up 16.2 ppg on the year while Ben Smith is joining him in double-figures with 11.7 per game.
Gipson is also dishing out a team-leading 2.7 assists per game while DeAngelo Adkins leads the way on the glass with 7.7 rebounds per game.
