University of Tulsa Justin Wright Named AAC Defensive Player of the Week

Tulsa linebacker Justin Wright was named the American Athletic Conference’s Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced today.
 
Wright, a 6’2″ senior from Abilene, Texas, had a standout performance last Thursday in a loss at Memphis.
 
He tied his season-high with 13 tackles, including nine solos, along with a season-best 2.5 TFL for -17 yards and one sack for -13 yards. Wright also forced one fumble, had one pass breakup and was credited with one QB hurry.
