83 percent of applicants to East Central University were admitted for fall 2018

At East Central University, 76 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 59 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Ada enrolled 3,576 students in fall 2018, including 2,941 in undergraduate and 635 in graduate programs, data shows. 7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

89 percent of undergraduates are residents of Oklahoma, and 9 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (60 percent) and American Indian or Alaska Native (13 percent).

The school admitted 83 percent of the 812 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 74 percent enrolled.
