Today, Congressman Tom Cole expressed his support for the recently passed budget resolution. The Congressman emphasized the resolution's alignment with priorities endorsed by the American public in the previous November elections.
"Last November, the American people overwhelmingly voted for a secure border, American energy dominance, investment in the defense of America, a more efficient federal government, and an extension of the Trump Tax Cuts," he stated.
Cole sees the resolution's passage as a crucial step towards meeting public expectations and delivering on campaign promises. "Through the passage of this budget resolution, we will now be able to begin the drafting stage in order to deliver on these promises," he noted. He further commented on the importance of the initiative, asserting that "the American people are counting on us – and, today, we got one step closer to getting the job done!"
