Today, Congressman Tom Cole (OK-04) issued a statement following President Donald Trump's meeting with the House Republican Conference.

"As we all know, the past three years of the Biden presidency have been plagued with crisis after crisis – a wide-open border, surging inflation, an unstable world stage, skyrocketing violent crime, an opioid epidemic, alarmingly weakened national security, and more. This cannot continue. We need to put our nation on a better path," said Congressman Cole.

"Today, I got the opportunity to visit briefly with President Trump when he spoke to the House Republican Conference about doing just that. He spoke about securing our border, reigning in out-of-control government spending, lowering crime, ensuring America is energy independent, and being a fearless leader on the world stage," added Congressman Cole. "As Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, I look forward to working directly with President Trump to push these strong, commonsense solutions and curb the catastrophes of the Biden Administration."
