Washington, D.C. – Congressman Tom Cole (OK-04) has expressed his support for the Fiscal Year 2025 Homeland Security Appropriations Act, following a vote in favor of the bill.
"Today, I voted to deliver on our constitutional duty of keeping Americans and the homeland safe," stated Congressman Cole. He highlighted that resources in the act are aimed at addressing what he described as "the Biden Administration’s crisis at our southern border" and supporting Border Patrol agents and officers.
Cole also emphasized that the bill allocates funds for removing dangerous criminals and countering the spread of illicit fentanyl. "We must prioritize reversing the Biden Administration’s radical open-border policies, as well as protecting our communities from the threats that have arisen due to these policies," he added.
