Congressman Tom Cole of Oklahoma's 4th District recently met with President Trump at Mar-a-Lago to discuss key elements of the America First agenda and Republican priorities for the upcoming 119th Congress. Following their meeting, Congressman Cole released a statement highlighting the topics they covered during their discussions.

We engaged on spending priorities, cutting waste, reconciliation plans, and the debt ceiling. I made clear of my readiness to partner with the incoming President and his administration to advance the America First agenda, which begins with securing our borders and revitalizing pro-growth economic policies," said Congressman Cole.
Cole expressed confidence in the direction set by President Trump and appreciated the opportunity to engage in dialogue aimed at establishing a collaborative relationship. "It was a powerful and unifying start. I trust in President Trump’s direction and am grateful for his time. We have set a foundation to further a strong working relationship rooted in forging a safer and more prosperous future for all Americans," he added.
