Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Tom Cole (OK-04) revealed significant changes to his D.C. staff, including the promotion of Will McPherson to the role of Chief of Staff. McPherson, a University of Oklahoma alumni and former Governor Fallin staffer, has a long history with Congressman Cole's office, starting as a field representative in 2015 and working his way up to the Chief of Staff position. Congressman Cole expressed his confidence in McPherson, stating, "His success in all his various roles in my office, particularly as a policy director in my D.C. office, cannot be overstated enough."
Former Chief of Staff, Josh Grogis, also praised McPherson, highlighting his dedication and hard work, “He will be the first Chief of Staff for Congressman Cole that has begun as an intern and worked his way all the way up to the top post – proving his dedication and hard work."
In addition to McPherson's promotion, Harper Pickering joined Congressman Cole’s D.C. staff as the Legislative Correspondent. Congressman Cole commended Pickering's work ethic and passion for important issues, stating, "He brings invaluable knowledge and experience from his time with the Rules Committee to my team."
