Congressman Tom Cole has announced the 2025 Service Academy Nominees from Oklahoma’s Fourth District. These nominees will be considered for full appointments to prestigious military academies, including the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and the U.S. Naval Academy.

The nomination process is known for its competitiveness, with applicants assessed on academic performance such as class rank and standardized test scores, along with athletics, physical fitness, extracurricular activities, recommendations, and leadership potential. Upon receiving a congressional nomination from Congressman Cole or his recommendation panel, students become eligible for consideration by their chosen service academies.

Congressman Cole expressed admiration for the nominees' commitment to serving their country: “The desire to serve one’s country is truly inspiring and deserving of all our respect,” he stated.
