Washington, D.C. – Congressman Tom Cole (OK-04) has expressed his support for the Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations bill for Fiscal Year 2025. Following his vote in favor of the legislation, he released a statement highlighting the importance of supporting veterans and active-duty military personnel.

“One of America’s greatest differentiators are the men and women who have selflessly answered the call to serve. These men and women bravely met their duty to us, and, with this legislation, we have yet another opportunity to uphold our obligation to them,” said Congressman Cole. “This bill reflects our deep gratitude to our military heroes by fully funding health care and benefits for our veterans, enhancing the quality of life of our troops and their families, and investing in key deterrence measures in the Indo-Pacific.”

Cole emphasized his commitment to supporting veterans and strengthening national defense. “My vote in favor of this bill is simple: I support our veterans, our troops, and strengthening the defense of the United States. I am proud to represent so many veterans in Oklahoma’s fourth district and I will always stand up for our servicemembers, both past and present.”
