Today, Congressman Tom Cole (OK-04) voted in favor of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2025. This bill aims to provide servicemembers with a pay raise, counter Chinese aggression, restore military lethality, defend Israel, fund the deployment of the National Guard to the southern border, and address waste, fraud, and abuse at the Pentagon.

After the FY25 NDAA passed the House of Representatives, Congressman Cole issued a statement:

"At a time when we are facing so many challenges and threats, it is imperative that we prioritize our nation’s national security in order to safeguard the American people," said Congressman Cole. "Today, I voted to do just that. This legislation will guarantee that our brave servicemembers are provided with everything they need to ensure they are prepared and ready to serve when called to action while at the same time improves servicemember quality-of-life and provides much-needed oversight at the Pentagon, which will save taxpayers tens of billions of dollars. I am proud to have voted in favor of this legislation as it will send a strong message to the rest of the world that the United States of America is strong and our men and women in uniform are more than ready to fight if need be."
